About Us
NBYS' mission is to create a fully involved Yacht experience from Sale to Service. Newport Beach Yacht Sales & Services and their Marine Plumbing Service division provides one-stop concierge, maintenance, and plumbing services for all your boating needs. Owner Stefan Gillmer has sailed the world as a yacht captain and engineer, logging more than 25,000 nautical miles throughout the USA, Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico and Costa Rica. He has more than 17 years experience working on boat systems and engines, and was trained and certified as a Mechanical Engineer in South Africa.
Stefan, with his many years experience working on private yachts realized that boat owners often do not have the time to keep everything in top shape. “I want to take the worry out of boat ownership for people, and make it fun!” he says. That’s where NBYS comes in.
